Electromagnetic Induction
EM technology is one of the newest technologies for utility location on the market. Electromagnetic Induction uses magnetic fields to produce electrical currents. Based on the frequencies used and currents induced, utility location readings can be used to create an incredibly accurate map of everything below ground, from concrete to underground water sources and underground utility lines.

Ground Penetrating Radar
Ground Penetrating Radar is used to rapidly and precisely locate underground utility lines to avoid potentially hazardous and costly situations. GPR equipment creates a “baseline” or point of reference that indicates where the radar waves are initiated. The GPR device sends radar into the ground, creating geological readings that include any voids or objects below ground. That information is then transmitted back to the "baseline" or GPR device. Our trained technicians collect those readings and compile them to create a quick and accurate picture of where underground utility lines lay.
